I'm going to have to write more on movie posters -- the magnificent juncture of art and commerce that tries to encapsulate everything about a specific film in a single creatively contrived image -- but in the meantime here's an outfit you should know about. Mondo Posters commissions re-imaginings of poster art for new and classic films; they've been doing it for a while, but I finally learned about them a few months ago when their commission for Jaws was released. Here's their archive, if you want to take a stroll through their stuff.

The Jaws print was part of a limited edition series by an artist named Laurent Durieux, who brings an amazing pop-art sensibility to reworkings of classic film posters. How can you not want some of this stuff on your walls? Highly recommended.
