  • Fidelis Care, the New York State Catholic Health Plan, has joined with Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic to help uninsured residents of Ontario and Wayne counties apply for quality, free or low-cost health insurance coverage.
    Ontario County is home to nearly 2,000 uninsured children under the age of 19, and 7,000 uninsured adults between the ages of 19 and 64. Wayne County is home to an additional 1,700 uninsured children and 7,200 uninsured adults.
    Fidelis Care representatives will be on-site from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Thursdays at West Wayne Plaza, 1900 Route 31, Macedon, to answer questions about health insurance options, and to help eligible residents apply to enroll in Fidelis Care programs.
    Those unable to meet with a Fidelis Care representative at these times are encouraged to call 1-888-FIDELIS (1-888-343-3547) to schedule an individual consultation.
    Fidelis Care offers free or low-cost health insurance through New York State's Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus and Medicaid Managed Care programs. Members are covered for regular checkups, preventive care, routine screenings, hospital and emergency care, eye exams, dental care and more.
    To apply for enrollment in Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, or Medicaid Managed Care through Fidelis Care, bring proof of age, income and address.
