The Wayne County Office of Sheriff hosted a luncheon for the “Sheriff’s Office Retirees” on Tuesday, Oct. 9. Twenty-two retirees attended the luncheon and shot on the Firearms Range Facility.

The Wayne County Office of Sheriff hosted a luncheon for the “Sheriff’s Office Retirees” on Tuesday, Oct. 9. Twenty-two retirees attended the luncheon and shot on the Firearms Range Facility.

Sheriff Barry Virts presented the Yellow DOT Program and discussed Sheriff’s Office activities, programs and events with the retirees.

“I owe these folks a lot,” Virts said. “They taught me the trade and helped build this great institute of the Office of Sheriff.”
