  • Three Rochester residents have been charged in connection with a home invasion in Perinton last Thursday night.  The Monroe County Sheriff's Office reported that Michael J. Corvelli, 24, and Roy J. Calentinez, 34, were charged with first degree burglary, robbery, criminal use of a firearm and fourth degree grand larceny. Lindsay Rambert, 24, was charged Monday with fourth degree conspiracy.
Deputies responded to Highview Manor Apartments on Alpine Knoll in Perinton around 10:45 p.m. on May 9 where three men allegedly entered a male victim's residence and assaulted him with a weapon.    Police say the suspects stole property from inside the apartment, including two rifles and left the victim tied up in the residence. Deputies stopped Corvelli in his vehicle the next morning, and he was subsequently arraigned in Perinton Town Court and remanded to Monroe County Jail.    Calentinez was taken into custody shortly after on Lakeview Drive in Rochester after a brief standoff with deputies and Rochester police. He was additionally charged with criminal possession of a firearm and is being held in Monroe County Jail.   Rambert was arrested Monday and was arraigned in Perinton Town Court and remanded to Monroe County Jail.
