In Class B, Midlakes finished in second place with 350 points, two points behind first-place Livonia. Pal-Mac claimed third with 336, Aquinas placed fourth with 329 and Newark finished fifth with 312.

The Red Jacket cheerleading team claimed the Section 5 Class C3 title on Saturday night, finishing just ahead of the squads from Honeoye and Dundee.

The Indians amassed 348 points to claim their first winter championship in four years. Honeoye placed second with 332 points while Dundee came in third at 331.

Beardsley was named Coach of the Year for Class C3 after receiving the same honor in Class D this past fall. Junior Lindsay Johnsen received the Class C3 Leadership Award.
