  • The Monroe County Sheriff's Department has recently announced a new program called Yellow Dot aimed at providing vital medical information to first responders.
The free service will help first responders by providing life-saving medical information in the moments immediately following an emergency situation. Each Yellow Dot kit will contain a medical information card with a recent photo that citizens should place in the glove compartment of their vehicle for first responders to find.
The Yellow Dot program is available to individuals of all ages, and kits are available at the Sheriff’s Office Central Records Unit and Monroe County Department of Motor Vehicle locations.
