SYNOPSIS “Into the Woods” combines the well-known fairy tales of Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Little Red Riding Hood with the story of the Baker and his Wife who desperately want a child. Unfortunately, the Baker and his Wife have been cursed with childlessness by a witch and must perform various missions involving the characters in the other fairy tales to break the spell.
WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND “People should attend to support arts in education,” said Kevin Farnsworth. “Students come together to produce a collective body of work as entertainment for the public. It becomes one of their most memorable experiences in high school. Their only reward, other than knowing they did their best, is to have an audience watch, listen and appreciate them. That’s what live theatre is all about.
“This will be a wonderful show for the whole family.
“We depend on the public’s support, since the Drama Club’s productions are self-funded, along with help from the Performing Arts Boosters. No tax dollars are used to produce the show. We struggle each year to break even, so sincerely appreciate the support.”
