Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry, has begun accepting applications for two homes. These houses, located in the villages of Sodus and Newark, are set to be remodeled this summer.

Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry, has begun accepting applications for two homes. These houses, located in the villages of Sodus and Newark, are set to be remodeled this summer.

Applicants must live or work in Wayne County, currently live in inadequate housing, have an annual income of at least $24,000 and be willing to partner with Habitat for Humanity. The chosen families would be expected to work 400 hours on the houses or other Habitat projects and pay a $500 down payment. The house will be sold to them at cost with a no-interest mortgage.
