On March 15, the Macedon-Palmyra-Walworth Chamber of Commerce met at Parkwood Heights in Macedon.

Chamber President Michael Murphy welcomed all, including guests John Schlafer and Amber Jenkins, and new members Kathryn MacDuff of Twigs Magikal Thrift Shop in Palmyra and Bill Molinere of T & M Solar Solutions in Newark.

Don Lomborg  was guest speaker, who addressed the group about the new Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery, which is being established at the Old Sampson Navy base in Seneca Falls. All were encouraged to learn more about the cemetery by visiting www.sampsonveterancemetery.com or by calling 539-1845.

Amber Jenkins, on behalf of the Palmyra American Legion, invited everyone to participate in a celebration of Armed Forces Day they are hosting on May 21 and 22 at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Palmyra.
Chamber board member Kevin Jesse of KJ Design shared what is currently happening with the chamber website and social media events.  

Every area business owner and those who are involved with local businesses are encouraged to attend the April meeting on Tuesday, April 19 at Parkwood Heights when Wayne County Sheriff Barry Virts will speak about law enforcement issues in Wayne County, which affect business owners and residents alike. Attendees are asked to  RSVP by emailing info@mpwcc.org or calling (800) 975-8676. Cost for members are $20 and non-members are $25.
