  • Canandaigua man charged in connection to alleged Gorham-Middlesex PTO theft

  • A Canandaigua man was arrested Nov. 21 on charges related to money that was allegedly stolen from the Gorham-Middlesex Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), said Ontario County sheriff’s deputies.



    Drew A. Brooks, 43, of 3446 County Road 18, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree forgery, deputies said.

  • A Canandaigua man was arrested Nov. 21 on charges related to money that was allegedly stolen from the Gorham-Middlesex Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), said Ontario County sheriff’s deputies.
    Drew A. Brooks, 43, of 3446 County Road 18, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree forgery, deputies said. According to police, Brooks allegedly wrote checks to himself from the PTO account without authorization. The total amount of the checks was $2,956, police said.
    Former PTO treasurer Tracy Brooks, 44, also of 3446 County Road 18, was charged Nov. 16 with second-degree grand larceny after allegedly also taking money from various PTO accounts. Police said she took over $50,000 during her five-year tenure as the treasurer.
