State Sen. Mike Nozzolio, R-54th Dist., recently met with library representatives during the annual Library Advocacy Day at the state capitol.

Representatives from the Finger Lakes Library System, Pioneer Library System and Rochester Regional Library Council were present.

Nozzolio also was presented the Ex Libris Award by New Yorkers for Better Libraries.

“Our libraries provide countless opportunities for everyone in the community, from our children and families to adults and senior citizens,” said Nozzolio. “There is no greater resource in our communities than the local library. We must continue to support our libraries, in order to ensure that our children and future generations have the opportunity to learn and grow, make new discoveries and achieve their greatest hopes and dreams.”
