The League of Women Voters of New York State will release its electronic voters guide Sept. 3, which will cover the State Assembly general election and the State Senate primary and general elections, along with local general elections.

LWVNYS will use a web-based system to pose questions to candidates and collect their responses. The candidates will post their replies in their own words so voters can gain a clearer impression of each candidate and their platform.

LWVNYS will not edit responses, but will delete anything that contains personal attacks and/or offensive language. If the candidate does not provide information, their name and/or the office they are running for, they will receive the notation “no response by deadline.”
