A Palmyra woman faces two felony charges after allegedly posting an ad to sell marijuana on Craig's List Rochester, and then selling prescription drugs to undercover officers.

Members of the Wayne County Sheriff's Special Investigation Unit learned of the Craig's List ad, placed by someone who claimed to be selling "Mary-Jane paintings" at $50 for a one-eighth ounce.

Police allege Kayla N. Kern, 19, of Palmyra, wanted to sell marijuana to undercover officers, but ended up selling them the controlled substance, Alprazolam, in prescription form.

Kern was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, both class D felonies. She was arraigned in Palmyra Village and will return to face charges at a later date.
