A Steuben County mayor is accused of giving teens alcohol.
Thomas Cox, the mayor of Cohocton, was arrested after state police say they found two teens drinking alcohol outside the Cohocton Development Corporation building on Maple Avenue Friday night.
Troopers say the teens claim Cox, who was at the building, gave them the alcohol.
Cox was charged with unlawfully dealing with a child.
State police are investigating.
