Wayne County Historical Society recently published “Did You Know?,” a books based on an exhibit at Museum of Wayne County History, 21 Butternut St., Lyons.
The Changing Exhibition Room recently was filled with fun, obscure facts about Wayne County. Local historians provided known and little known facts and research that was carried out in the library at the museum.
The idea for a pocket-sized book was born of that exhibit, and there are enough facts in the book so that the reader will be that much more knowledgeable about Wayne County history.
The book is divided into chapters based on each Wayne County town, and there are facts on Wayne County religions, people and the Erie Canal at the back of the book.
The book is for sale in the museum gift shop and at Dobbins Drugs, 52 William St., and Community Co-op at Newberry, 46 William St., in Lyons.
