Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds take a break from the summer DMB tour to play an acoustic show for the CMAC crowd
HOPEWELL — After Saturday's season opener saw light rains greeting the lawn-ticket fans of ZZ Top and John Fogerty at Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center, Mother Nature proved more cooperative Tuesday for a frequent CMAC favorite.
Warm and pleasant weather greeted fans of guitarists Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, whose intimate acoustic shows are a sort of busman's holiday from the Dave Matthews Band, which is in the midst of a summer tour. The "Dave and Tim" duo have played CMAC a handful of times, most recently in 2016, presenting DMB favorites and other material.
After a few days' rest, the CMAC stage will be active again Saturday, as The Who singer Roger Daltrey presents the music of the band's classic album "Tommy," accompanied by members of the Who band a symphony orchestra.
