Multiple fire departments responded to the early morning fire and limited the damage to the kitchen.
NAPLES — There were no injuries reported as a result of a Tuesday morning fire that severely damaged the kitchen in the clubhouse of the Reservoir Creek Golf Course.
Naples, Bristol and Richmond fire departments and Naples Ambulance all responded to the call and limited the potential damage.
“The kitchen is a total loss,” said Mike Griffon, an employee at the golf course. “Other than that we are open for business as usual — until the 31st of the month.”
According to a press release from Jeffrey Harloff, Ontario County fire coordinator, the fire broke out at 12:30 a.m. when the second-floor resident was able to escape and call 911.
According to Harloff, the preliminary investigation indicates the fire originated in the kitchen area. The building is insured.
“It could have been much worse and despite the damage we’re still open for business,” said Holly Deusenbery, the golf course owner. “We’re using a beverage cart and serving hot dogs and hamburgs.”
