According to deputies, man began choking the woman and then removed a cupboard door, throwing it at her head.

Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies arrested an Arcadia man after an investigation alleged the man began choking a woman and threw a door at her head. The investigation into the domestic-related incident resulted in the arrest of Kevin M. Case, 40.

Case was charged with second-degree harassment, criminal obstruction of breathing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

According to deputies, Case began choking the woman using his forearm. He then removed a cupboard door, throwing it at her head.

Case was arraigned in the town of Arcadia Court where he was released on his own recognizance. A stay away-order of protection was issued by the court. Case is to reappear in town court at a later date to answer the charges.
