The Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Educational Services recently identified two finalists for its next top administrator: superintendents Catherine Huber, from Alexander Central School District, and Viema Ramos, from Greater Amsterdam School District.
The candidates will participate in community forums from 4 to 5:15 p.m. in the Conference Center at Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES, 131 Drumlin Court, Newark. Staff and community members will be able to ask questions while meeting with Ramos on Dec. 11 and Huber on Dec. 12.
“Our board is pleased with the process that has produced two exceptional educators as finalists to be the next leader of our BOCES,” said O.J. Sahler, board president. “We hope community members are able to attend the upcoming finalist forums to meet the candidates.”
Jo Ann Antonacci, district superintendent of Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES, is working with the board as a search consultant.
“The members of the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES have committed themselves to an extensive search process to identify a new leader to continue to move their BOCES forward,” she said.
