Ontario resident joins Dixon Schwabl
Zach Cedruly, of Ontario, recently joined Dixon Schwabl, a marketing communications firm in Victor, as digital media specialist.
Cedruly is responsible for the creation and execution of digital media campaigns across all clients. He will create and execute optimization strategies to improve performance and drive growth across digital media campaigns.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in media management from St. John Fisher College.
Newark resident interning at local accounting firm
Brandon Custer, of Newark, recently joined Mengel Metzger Barr & Co. as a tax intern.
Custer is a sophomore accounting major at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
The firm provides various financial services, including general accounting, audit and tax services, estate planning, and information technology.
Red Creek senior receives Electrical Association scholarship
Red Creek senior Nathan Ellis recently received a $500 School-to-Work Scholarship from the Electrical Association of Rochester.
Ellis is enrolled in the electrical trades program taught by Jim Buck at the Wayne Technical and Career Center.
The scholarship goes to individuals pursuing a career in the electric industry and participating in a training program to be used for the purchase of tools.
Ellis received the scholarship from Brian Rittenhouse, president of the Electrical Association of Rochester, during the annual Electric Week reception at the Midvale Country Club in Penfield.
