CANANDAIGUA — The two ensembles formed as part of the Youth Chorus of the Finger Lakes (YCFL), a community youth chorus founded this school year, will present their spring semester concert this Sunday, June 9, at 4 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 100 N. Main St., Canandaigua.

The YCFL's chorus ensembles — ConBrio for students in grades 2-6 and Melodia for students in grades 7-12 — meet on Tuesday evenings at the church. The YCFL includes students from the Bloomfield, Canandaigua, Geneva, Manchester-Shortsville, Marcus Whitman, Naples and Victor school districts, as well as the home school community.

Tickets for Sunday's concert are $5 for adults and free for students 18 and younger. Ticket money will go towards the scholarship fund to help families who are unable to pay the yearly participation fee.

For students interested in trying out, auditions for the new year will take place in August. To schedule an audition, contact Director Kristy Ingersoll at Ingersoll@ycfl.org. For more information, visit the YCFL website at www.YCFL.org
