HOPEWELL — Nashville came to Hopewell Friday night, as Luke Bryan brought his "Sunset Repeat" tour to Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (CMAC).

The winner of nine American Country Awards in 2012 and multiple other industry awards since — and the highest-paid country star of 2019, Forbes reported this week — Bryan brought with him rising stars Cole Swindell and Jon Langston. Swindell is the writer of a number of Bryan's songs — "Beer in the Headlights," "Roller Coaster" and "Love in a College Town," to name just a few — while Langston is the first artist on Bryan's new record label, 32 Bridge Entertainment.

CMAC also hosts Lynyrd Skynyrd on Saturday night, as the Southern rockers behind such classic-rock staples as "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Free Bird" take the stage for their "Last of the Street Survivors" farewell tour. Joining Skynyrd will be Southern-rock jam-band Gov't Mule and bluesman Buddy Guy.

Next up at CMAC: Tedeschi Trucks Band, with Blackberry Smoke and Shovels & Rope, on Tuesday, July 16 (gates 5:30 p.m., music 7 p.m.); and Rob Thomas, with Abby Anderson, on Sunday, July 21. For the full remaining 2019 season schedule, visit cmacevents.com.
