HONEOYE FALLS — A local craft brewery that's been around for more than two decades will close its doors for good at the end of the month.

Mike Alcorn, the owner of CB Craft Brewers in Honeoye Falls, tells News10NBC that business has been difficult the past two years.

"After 22 fun years of brewing beer for the craft beer lovers of Western New York, CB Craft Brewers is ready to hang up their hat," a post on the brewery's Facebook page read. "On Sunday, September 1st, our brewery will close it’s doors and brewing operations permanently."

CB Craft Brewers, which opened in 1997, is holding its 22nd-anniversary celebration on Sat. Aug. 24 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. It will include live music from Wildroot String Band (3-6 p.m.) and Dave Riggioni & Friends (7:30-11 p.m.). The venue is at 300 Village Square Blvd.
