It’s time for the 12th annual Harvest Fest on Main Street in the village of Sodus. This event, organized by the Sodus Chamber of Commerce, will run rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 28.
Over 80 vendors will offer food, art, crafts, demonstrations and information throughout the fall event. The Show and Shine Car Show spotlights vintage, muscle, old and new cars, as well as trucks and motorcycles.
The Savannah Cellar Savers will perform. Food offerings include the Pall Bearers, El Rincon Mexican Food, Imprint Coffee, hot dogs at the Presbyterian Church and fried ice cream, a pig roast at Sodus Town Ambulance, and the Sodus Firemen’s Chicken Barbecue.
A free wagon ride will make various stops, such as pumpkin coloring for kids at St. John’s and photo opportunities at the Sodus Community Library.
Pumpkins and sunflowers up for judging will be on display all day. Winners will be announced at 2 p.m. Smaller pumpkins will be dropped from the 86-foot lift every 30 minutes starting at noon.
