Pennsylvania man arrested following the report of a motor vehicle collision in Wayne County.

The Wayne County Office of the Sheriff arrested a Pennsylvania man following the report of a motor vehicle collision in Wayne County.

Deputies charged Stephen J. Rassio Jr., 53, of Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania, with driving while intoxicated.

According to deputies, Passio called 911 stating that he crashed his vehicle and was in a cornfield on Maple Avenue in the town of Palmyra. Passio's vehicle was located several hundred feet into the cornfield, and after further investigation it was determined that Passio was operating the motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition.

Passio was transported to the Wayne County Office of the Sheriff for processing where he submitted to a chemical breath test which determined his BAC to be .08%. Passio was released on appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Palmyra Court at a later date to answer the charges.
