ROC City Ringers, a community handbell ensemble from Rochester, will perform at 4 p.m. on Sept. 29 in a concert benefiting Historic Gates Hall, 4107 Lake Road, Williamson.
The bell choir presents a range of classical, contemporary and sacred music. Directed by Jacqueline Anderson, the group plays on five octaves of Schulmerich handbells and Malmark handchimes.
The Williamson-Pultneyville Historical Society is organizing a series of concerts to support the preservation and structural remediation of Gates Hall, Built in 1825, this community theater venue is one of 23 architecturally significant properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Pultneyville.
