The Williamson-Pultneyville Historical Society will bring the state “Path Through History” to Pultneyville with free events on Oct. 14.
Dottie and Perry Howland invite visitors to experience colonial times and press cider the old-fashioned way from 1 to 4 p.m. at the W-PHS House, 4130 Mill St. This event showcases an earlier way of life and the community’s agricultural heritage.
Dan Montondo will welcome visitors to Gates Hall, 4107 Lake Road, to highlight the historic venue’s role in the community as a cultural center. Visitors will get a behind-the-scenes look at the venue, learn about its history and preview an upcoming show.
Gates Hall is the oldest active small community theater in the U.S. in continuous operation. Built in 1825, the structure resides on the National Register of Historic Places.
“Path Through History” weekends are a showcase of the state’s history through hundreds of events at historic and cultural destinations.
