I would like to encourage all Canandaigua city residents to consider taking the important first step to making Canandaigua once again whole, complete and vibrant.

If more than 28 years was not enough to accomplish this and the incumbent mayor wants just another term, then it will be just an extension of the same old policies. If you are tired of the same old, same old, please consider a vote for Bob Palumbo.

Bob’s resume speaks for itself. His life has been dedicated to community service. He is a second generation resident whose family name is synonymous with volunteerism and charity work. He has donated his time and talent as a plumber to many community projects that have benefited the community as a whole.

Bob has an innate ability to mediate situations that seem non-negotiable. He listens attentively to both sides of an issue to find common ground to reach consensus.

I’m convinced Bob is the right candidate, that this is the right time and that he will do right for all of the residents of our city.

Bob is a successful businessman who has run a successful business for 40 years with the core value of catering to families in his community, just as his father Vic did for so many years. He also knows it is the individuals in his community that make our neighborhoods and city prosper, and addressing their needs is his priority. Bob has led a life of integrity, servitude and compassion, and I look forward to the positive impact he will have as mayor of Canandaigua.

So, on Election Day, just ask yourself if 28 years is enough time, and is this the right time for a change in administration? If your answer is yes, please vote for Bob Palumbo. The city will be better for it.

Contrary to misleading information being communicated, Bob stands by the findings on two studies, funded by the city, which supported four firefighters on duty.
