FROM NEWS PARTNER, NEWS10NBC"S WEATHER TEAM:

Travel will be difficult today as folks head back after the Thanksgiving holiday. A storm system has moved in, bringing with it a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain. We will be under a Winter Weather Advisory through 7PM on Monday.

We are currently looking at a mix between sleet and freezing rain, with some accumulating ice likely. This may include a few tenths of an inch of freezing rain in the Genesee Valley, possibly into Rochester.

The heaviest amounts of ice would likely be southwest, and the least amounts into Wayne County. That being said, a little more snow may fall into Wayne county and Central NY.

This mix will be from now through the early to mid afternoon, before tapering. After 3PM today we will see scattered snow showers fall. From this afternoon through tomorrow we can see anywhere from 6-10 inches of snowfall.

tonight and Monday. Total 36 hour snow accumulations of 6 to
