BUFFALO — Tesla is not planning on making ventilators in its Buffalo facility.

Instead, state leaders say the company plans on making a component used to build the device. Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office says the company is trying to get production for that up and running, but so far nothing has materialized.

The governor also says any current production of ventilators would not help the state with dealing with the peak of the outbreak.
