Palmyra woman hurt in Route 31 accident
A Palmyra woman was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for head injuries after a one-vehicle accident Wednesday, July 15, in the town of Palmyra.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Susan Doyle, 71, of Route 31 was attempting to back out of a driveway at around 1:28 p.m. and backed over an embankment. She was transported via LifeNet to Strong to be treated for facial and head injuries.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by Finger Lakes Ambulance and firefighters.
