Person who threw kitten into Canandaigua street sought

The Ontario County Humane Society is asking anyone with information about a person who threw a kitten from a moving vehicle Thursday to contact the society or the county 911 Center.

According to the Humane Society, someone threw a black-and-white female kitten from a vehicle onto Eastern Boulevard in the area of Muar Street in the city of Canandaigua at about 1:50 p.m. Aug. 6. The Humane Society and Canandaigua police found the kitten dead, due to trauma suffered by being struck by a vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Humane Society at 585-396-4590 or the 911 Center at 585-394-4560.
