GENESEO — The Livingston County Sheriff's Office confirmed Monday that the human remains found in Geneseo back in February are that of missing fugitive David Clyde Morgan.

Morgan disappeared in July 2018 after police say he threatened an officer during a traffic stop.

Hunters found skeletal remains in woods off Cuylerville Road in Geneseo on Feb. 23 near where that traffic stop happened.

Sheriff Tom Dougherty said the medical examiner’s office determined the manner of death as a suicide.
