ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The state now has a way for you to report people who are not following the travel advisory quarantine.
This comes now that more states are added to the advisory.
Many people have been asking how New York plans to enforce the quarantine mandate. The state added a form you can fill out if you see or know of anyone not following the rules.
Gov. Andrew "We are working with the airlines for them to give passengers upon landing a slip where you have to fill out who you are, where you are, where you are coming from, where you are going,” Cuomo said. “They'll be collected by the Port Authority and entered into a database. We will then do random checks off that database."
As for people driving somewhere, Cuomo says state troopers will help enforce that part of the rule.
If you'd like to report someone, you can access a link to the form here.
Cuomo also says airports will track people who fly into the state.
